Word Up is an organization and community that promotes social inclusion and diversity through spoken word poetry and related musical and/or performance expression.
Launched in 2015, Word Up unites people, passionate about creative self-expression and encourages them to engage with the world around them, and use spoken word poetry as an instrument through which they can explore and better understand their culture, their society, and ultimately, themselves.
